The Neighborhood Company™ is a group of West Seattle friends and neighbors who came together in December of 2001 with a common vision of renovating the home where REI was founded, and building a small community of three new houses centered around a shared garden. The community will be called “Anderson Gardens.”

The company members are all community-minded residents who each bring valuable talents and skills to the project. As professionals, our group has the collective experience as: graphic artists, a marketing and PR professional, an architect and a lighting designer, an attorney, a non-profit organization head, an organizational specialist, and a communications installer. We also have the skills of three expert garden enthusiasts in our group, who will help guide the garden creation process.
